Cart already populated

Hello Zenners,
The carts for my clients are installed by my hosting company. I have a new zen cart for one client and when I opened it up - it was already populated! It looks like one of the templates! Have you had this happen before? Should I try to clean it up or start over? What about the database - should I clean it or delete the tables and start again?

Here is the cart as it exists for the moment:

It was installed with the demo, and the classic green template is the default
template until you add a new template. The demo products and data will
show you all the neat features of Zen Cart.

Oops...is this a 1.2x version? You should really get the latest!

I will install the new version and dump the other, but should I empty the database and do a complete redo?

I think for the future, I will install the cart myself and just let my hosting company turn on the database.

What version has your host installed? 1.37 is the latest. I saw the 1.2 on some of the demo products and thought the ver was 1.2x.

Is it still Monday?

If you install yourself, you'll have a choice of whether to install the demo or not. But if you already
have 1.37, you can delete the products and categories from admin and pics via ftp.

I have one other question for you. I looked at your Country Kitty Crafts and noticed you have all your side boxes on the left and have expanded your layout across the page to the right. I know how to move the sideboxes, but where do you make the page layout expand to fill the open right side when the boxes have been moved?

Your site looks great! It was an inspiration!

In your Admin/Configuration/Layout Settings, turn the right side column off
by setting Column Right Status - Global to 0.
