    Default Website maintenance

I'm taking my site down for maintenance later tonight. I can get the notice to show up in the header, but when I test it by bringing it down for maintenance, it doesn't show it's down for x number of hours (I'm assuming I can do this since there's an option in the admin).

    My settings are:
    Down for Maintenance: ON/OFF false
    Down for Maintenance: filename down_for_maintenance
Down for Maintenance: Hide Header false
Down for Maintenance: Hide Column Left false
Down for Maintenance: Hide Column Right false
Down for Maintenance: Hide Footer false
Down for Maintenance: Hide Prices false
Down For Maintenance (exclude this IP-Address) (my IP address)
NOTICE PUBLIC Before going Down for Maintenance: ON/OFF true
Date and hours for notice before maintenance Wednesday May 9th, 2007 9pm - 11:59pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Display when webmaster has enabled maintenance true
    Display website maintenance period true
    Website maintenance period 03:00

    Katie-

What did you do to "fix" the problem? Might help someone else.

I was looking at my site from the IP that was in the "exclude" field. I took it off to look at it from the public's perspective, and there it was...

Thanks for letting us know why you weren't able to see the down for maintenance information. (PS- You don't want to know how many times I have done similar things)

in which file in the folder structure would i find the ip's to clear? i need to log in to the admin site to turn maintenance mode off apparently...
have just upgraded to 1.3.9h and the cache keeps being recreated after i deleted the 1.3.7.1 cache.

ok there is another configuration.php in the admin folder, this needs to be updated too. i've forgotten the url about it - but i do know that this is what i did to finish installing 1.3.9h. :)
i do not believe the ip's need to be cleared for everyone ;)
    Sincerely,
