Default Moving all files from a folder to main page > logistics

Hello! In order to build my site, I just set it up in a folder on my site (www.chacha-vintage.com/shop) so that people wouldn't get to it unless they knew the specific URL. On the main page of my site (www.chacha-vintage.com), I just had a simple "Coming Soon" site.

So now I'm ready to move all my files to my main site for everything to go live.

I removed the Coming Soon files from the main page and copied everything out of my "shop" folder to the main page. So, everything is working fine if I navigate to my home page. However, once I start looking around my categories, I see in the browser bar that it's pulling the files from www.chacha-vintage.com/shop.

Does this mean that all I really needed to do was move the index from the shop folder to the main page and leave the rest of the files as is? Or do I need to set up a new database and pull that stuff in?

I definitely don't want two sets of files, so really just need to know which files are supposed to be where and what I can delete.

Hope this makes sense and THANKS for your help!!

Definitely a config path issue. I have done this same thing on numerous occasions (set a cart up in one location then moved to "root" when ready) and if your config files have simply been moved then they still reflect the "/shop" location of the original install so you will need to update those to get it working correctly.

There is one in the Admin and one in the Catalog that need to be adjusted (each has to be adjusted in several locations so make sure you get them all).
