Is there a way to offer exclusie items to a certain group of members?

Lets say I want a special category only "Gold Members" can see, is it possible without heavy coding (I'm a designer at heart, not a php coder )? Or is there a modification for this already?

Not at this time but it certainly could be done for different levels of customers and altering if the add to cart shows or not ...

Can you have a spearate catergory that contains these items? And could this catergory be set up to require a password to enter?

I'm a Web Developer and have a client who needs this feature (exclusive products for certain customers) too... and the interface to add/remove these exclusive customers.
As an alternative (for now) I think I'm going to use the "Password Protect a Category" add-on, found on another Support Thread:

However password-protecting-a-category is not quite the functionality what we need, so I'd like to use this forum to call ZenCart developers for a quote/estimate/availability on creating such functionality. Please reply if interested.
Aslo, ZenCart admins interested in having this feature may reply. Perhaps we can create a pool to encourage a developer to work on this.

I achieved this effect by using:

1. Dual Pricing MOD. Pricing Level =1 is exclusive member, level = 0 regular members
2. Hidden Wholesale MOD to hide the products intended for for exclusive members from regular members
3. If categories need to be hidden also, then use the HideCategories MOD and PPC
