screening Registrations

Hi There

I have a website for wholesale guitar parts. I want to screen Registrations before they can buy form the store. Becasue these prices are for wholesalers eyes onl. I also run a online retail guitar parts store.

In the registration form

Also i would like to make all the products etc invisible to viewers untill they login.

So the options they will see when they come to my site is LOGIN or Register.

How would i go about making this possible?

I have to research this to be sure I'm right but here's my thought pattern.

You can have the site on showcase, which only shows the product and description without a price.

Registered buyers can see the normal prices.

A registered buyer that wants to sell wholesale has to request it via email, then you can place them into a buyer's group that you crate giving a certian percentage off to memebers of that group, bringing them close or right at the wholesale price, since most products will have a differant profit margin. You may also be able to set the wholesale percentage off on each product, but again I need to research this a bit more.

Does that sould like what you're looking for?

One consideration is to not allow Search engine spiders to view the site? They may pick up the wholesale prices and then you're just hangin out there for everyone to see.
