Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this has been reported yet (if it is then sorry). I'm currently using Zen cart 1.3.7 and I've discovered a small bug in the product entry page.
Now I live in Quebec, Canada, so I have to deal with two compounded taxes. One federal and one Provincial. So I set my tax zones, tax rates and tax priorities properly and went to add a dummy product to my database.
The bug occurred when I entered the price in the Net field. Now, my product was 5.29$. Considering the first tax is 6% and the second is 7.5%, the total amount with the compounded taxes should have been 6.03$... and yet, Zen cart stubbornly gave me 6.00$ every time.
I discovered that this was due to the fact that for some reason, the field did not take the tax priorities into account and kept adding the taxes instead of compounding them. Now, this doesn't really have much incidence on the actually functioning of the cart since checkout DOES work properly... but it still took me an entire day of banging my head on the wall to discover that it was the FIELD that had a problem, not my settings.
Thanks again,
Osuwariboy
