    Default configure.php writable

Ok After reading all the post regarding configure.php. i think is has to do something with php5. How do I bypass the installer from checking the the two files?

I know for sure the attributes are correct

    Short answer, you don't.

Are you saying that the installer is complaining that the files are writable?
This would be unusual unless the installation has completed, at which point you need to set them to the recommended operational settings, 644, 444, 400 or whatever makes the server happy.

You seem to have forgotten to tell us what the problem is, making it rather difficult to advise on how to solve it.

    Thank guys

managed to get my hosting company to set the permissions and the installation went smoothly.

Now that I have a fresh install on my webserver how do I get all the work I did on my local pc in my website. I had setup my store on my computer using Xampp.

I don't want to do the wrong thing now please advise
