Default Address book and chargebacks. Opinions anyone?

I have been reading the PayPal notes about contesting invalid chargebacks and it appears they won't even bother to fight a case on your behalf if the billing and shipping address details are different. It appears the shipping address has to be the same as the address on the PayPal order details page.

I think the Zen Cart address book feature is great for customers, but it also looks like a great feature for fraudsters too?

I need to make a decision whether or not to disable it. Can any seasoned web store operators advise me on that issue, based on real world experience of offering customers the option of a different shipping address?

    Tiny bump.

Can anyone advise me about this. I just noticed that a customer can change their billing address too. Is offering these features really safe to do?

Applying commonsense here, as a customer I would like to be able to move house if I wish without having to create a new account for every website I shop from, and I might also like to have any items I do purchase sent as a gift to someone who doesn't live at my address!
