    Default [NOT A BUG] Item sold out not displaying

    Okay, here is what happened.

    I had a customer request to purchase items out of stock. I went to the item and placed the quantity the customer desired to purchase. The customer bought the desired quantity leaving zero. The cart disabled the product after that so that it was disabled and did not show in searches or in its category.

    I believe the cart should not have disabled the product but just leave it with 0 quantity being sold out.

    A "bug" is code that does not function - this is a setting that you have not set

    admin > config > stock > Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to > leave on or turn off
