I just emailed you the info.
I just emailed you the info.
Email replied. Please confirm the details. In the mean time, this discussion should be done over email until it is done in order to avoid creating threads uselessly.
I am not sure if this applied to my inquiry. And after input from a few others, there is still no identifiable solution on my problem. Client side is not showing new field and on the Admin side, no fields are showing at all, although the table in which they should be is there.
ANY input or advice would be helpful. I am desperate and I figured that this should be fairly easy to just add one extra field for a customer.
Thank you again.

A-Z steps ? (Technical - not just theorical).
@repple:
Your last email was received as I'm currently working on it. Your last specifications are working correctly. Next update to come . . .
Since I am new to this, I am not sure what A-Z steps means. I can provide any information that you need except installation of the product as I had a programmer doing that (was beyond my scope of knowledge) and even they had difficulties. So please, just ask and I can get answers... I am just not sure I know where to begin for you on this venture.

Then, please provide from the beginning to the end (technicly). What did you do so that it would result this way ?I can provide any information that you need
Hi,
Great mod - sorely needed! Unfortunately, though, I'm having some problems with it.
Adding new fields via Admin works fine. When I then edit the various files I think I'm supposed to edit, adding new customers brings up the new fields very nicely both in Admin and Catalog pages. BUT, if I want to edit one of these new customers, the fields only show up in the Admin area, not in the Catalog's My Account edit page!
Is there anything about this that is obvious to you that I might check, or would you like me to send specific details of all the files and changes I made?
Thanks!
RAB
Why is it I'm always surprised when something actually works?
The last numerous pages reports the same type of problems as I have responded so many times on this on this topic. The reason why it is NOT showing on your page, fro the store-end, is because you probably didn't edited your override template files + your extra_definitions language file.Is there anything about this that is obvious to you that I might check
I will say it again; it does NOT appear automatically as you MUST edit your override template files + the extra_definitions folder for EACH additional customers fields you add from the admin section (and assure that it's activated).
Update:
A new small update has just been released on my site (and YES - from my site !). The reason on why the $additional_sql was not found during the update was because the variable wasn't predefined first.
- admin/customers.php file (recompare).
- includes/modules/pages/account_edit/<your_template>/header_php.php file (recompare).
- includes/modules/<your_template>/create_account.php file (recompare).
Again, only slight changes has been done as it should work correctly now.
