Include the middle digits on invoice

I am sure that I am not the first to desire the middle 8 digits be included in the 'Order Confirmation' email. This should be relatively harmless (security wise) since the 'Order Confirmation' copy only contains the payment type and doesn't include any of the other data related to the card.

Anyone know where to include the middle 8 digits and how to call it so that it appears in the Order Confirmation email?

The function you're looking for is inside your includes/classes/order.php file (at the end).

Thanks. I see the section to add the middle digits. I am having some trouble grabbing the digits.

I located the section that parses out the middle digits in 'includeds/modules/payment/cc.php', but I can't seem to get something working that will output the digits from within the order.php file.

If anyone has any ideas, or suggestions, or code I am all ears.
