Taking credit card payments.

Evening all.....
Im a new user of zen cart.....i found it very easy to install on my server.
The problem is i am looking to set up a way of accepting credit/debit cards.I have paypal installed (i think) but i would like to give my customers that extra verity on how to pay .
how would i go about doing this?


Also one more question.....(saves starting another thread.)

I would like to know how you take away the zen cart writing in the top of the browser? i followed the tutorial in faq section and it didnt change!!!
any help on this also would be great.

Two very different questions that would have been better off in different threads.

Customers can already pay by credit card through Paypal. Though if you want to credit cards via Zen Cart, it comes with a credit card module that you can set up by following the instructions in this FAQ entry. Though you will also need to sign up with a credit card processor. Alternatively you could sign up with one of the credit card processors for whom there's already a specific Zen Cart payment module. See the paymnet modules area in your Admin section or this section in the downloads area for a list of the modules available. You'll still need a merchant account though.

With regards to changing the text in the title bar of the browser, the advice in the FAQ works. I'd recommend double-checking that you followed each step correctly, and in particular that you replaced "custom" in the file path name with your template's directory name, and correctly uploaded the results to your server.

when you say merchant account .....is that with my bank or with the credit card processor?
