Left Column Messed Up After Adding Sidebox

hi everyone i was hoping someone could give me a quick hand. my left column is all messed up. i created a custom category sidebox which appeared to work great until i added any other sideboxes to the left column below that sidebox. if you have a look there is no space between the category box and the search box and its just all messed up. Also when an item is added to the cart and the shopping cart box opens up the width of the shopping cart box is bigger then all the other boxes. when i looked at the css everything appeared OK. i was hoping someone would have a look and see if they see the problem.

Don't know. Can't get there. Error shows:

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Probably just need to set the width of the left column to match your new sideboxes. You can do this at Admin>Configuration>Layout Settings.
Of course, it WOULD be better to see the problem first-hand.

im so sorry i had the page set to maintance i dont know if that was the problem, i fixed it. and i will look at what you said

also i just noticed in firefox the shopping cart box looks fine . its only in Internet explorer that it messes up. but the search is still messed up in the left column.

i have been working and working and just cant figure it out. im positive its from the category box i added when i change it around it fixes the problem but it does not look how i want. this is what i have in the custom cat box i created. tpl_customecats_sidebox. i used the better categories class to style the rollover
