This Tax Invoice Includes GST ??

Hello,

Just wonding if anyone knows how to set up the following :

The product in the cart shows the price - $125 (which already includes 10% GST)

At checkout, it shows the total order price, which is $125

and it also shows how much GST is on the order:

ie. This tax invoice includes GST of $11.36

Wondering if anyone has been able to set up their cart this way, so that it resembles a purchase at an actual physical shop.

Try this:

Go to Configuration > My Store, set Display Prices with Tax as false.
Go to Location/Taxes > Tax Rates, check the value you entered in the Description field of the tax rate you are using. E.g. GST @ 10%.

If your store is set up to show price inluding tax, the checkout displays the tax amount by default. It does however display this alongside the name you gave the tax, e.g. 'VAT' which at first glance can look like an addition. See this thread

Config --> My Store --> Display Prices with Tax --> needs to be set to TRUE
