"not shipping to your area" and "no payment options for your area"

On Step 2 of the checkout process, in the Payment Method part of the page, I get "Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time. Please contact us for alternate arrangements." Zones in Payment and Shipping mdules are both set to none.

What is the exact address showing on the screen?

Also, on the same page, how do I remove the Discount Coupon Box? The software and eBooks I will be selling are already deeply discounted so no need for that.

The Discount Coupon box shows up if you have created any coupons in your Admin->Gift Certificates/Coupons->Coupon Admin area.
You can remove that section by either deleting all coupons or turning off coupon support in Admin->Modules->Order Total->Discount Coupons -- click Remove.

I had no coupons created, but the Admin->Modules->Order Total->Discount Coupons -- click Remove worked fine.

I should annotate my last message. I am still getting the "Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements." message on this screen. It is appearing on step 2 of 3 of the checkout process, page /index.php?main_page=checkout_payment. Even though this message can be ignored, and the check out process continued and completed successfully, I would really like to get it removed as it will probably cause several potential customers to abandon their carts at this point.

Hi Ajeh, thanks for your response.

I Am using PayPal WPP, Payment Zone is set to none. Only other options are Florida, from the sample site, and Michigan, which is set for sales tax purposes. Bit again, current selection is none.

There is a category "downoads test" with two products in it, one free, one for $1.00. "Purchase" the freebie and proceed thru checkout. On step two of the checkout process, in the Payment Method box, is where the error message occurs. You can still proceed thru the checkout successfully, but I don't want the error message to cause patrons to abandon their carts at that point.

That did the trick! All I have to do now is get the New Member/Signup gift certificate configured, then I can finish loading products and be good to go, besides a few other tweaks.
