    Default Price banding

    I've just joined the Zen Cart bandwagon and think it's a great OS cart.

    I'm customising the cart for my employer's website and need help on making certain products a certain price depending on the quantity ordered. I am essentially trying to implement the following:

    1) Product A - if the quantity is one, the price is free, otherwise the product is sold for price per unit.

    2) Product B - If quantity is more than one, price of product per unit is £x off. For e.g, more than one in quantity here would give them £3 off each, hence:

    Quantity = 1, price = £10
    Quantity = 2, price = £13
    Quantity = 3, price = £16 etc..

    For 1), I've looked into the quantity discount section in the Products Price Manager, and what I *think* I need is to change the "minimum qty" to "maximum qty". That way if the maximum amount someone orders is 1, the product is 100% reduced, otherwise it's the set price.

    For 2) I've used the quantity discount section, using the "amount off" as well as "actual price" options, but I would get a non-rounded price, for eg, instead of £16.00 I would get £15.99.

    I also tried using the attribute controller to set the "Attributes Qty Price Discount" but I was confused on what the option name and option value dictate.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to achieve this?

    Alas, problem with Product A is solved.

    It was basically simple maths (doh!). After adding the 5 blank discounts, I set the following:

    Discount type = Percentage

    Min Quantity = 1, Discount Value = 100 (i.e. 100%)
    Min Quantity = 2, Discount Value = 0 (i.e. 0%)

    The problem with Product B I'm still working on....
