"Discount value" format

Can anyone tell me where I can change the format of the Discount Value field in the Product Quantity Discounts section (under Admin)?

The default format is a 4 decimal place float or double (not sure which) that looks like this 0.0000.

Currently, I'm trying to apply percentage discounts that give the Extended Price to be a rounded figure to the nearest dollar. I need the Discount Value field to be extended to 11 decimal places so that the rounding would work, i.e. 0.00000000000.

I'd be very grateful for any pointers, zenners...

The database is not designed for 11 decimal places ...

You would need to modify the products_discount_quantity table and change the field discount_price to 15,11

Now whether this would work correct is another story as this has not been tested ...

Thank you, Linda. I did have a workaround for my problem which involved straight forward use of the attributes which I was previously unfamiliar with.

I'll give your solution a shot and post back if it works.
