I need help with adding a button please help me

Hi I have a question about adding another checkout option for rent I think I have almost figured it out I just need a little help


In the template file


includes\templates\template_default\templates\tpl_product_info_display.php

there is a variable called How can I add another button
that will link to a second store installed on the same machine
The first store is
The First store (rental)

the second store is
The second store (BUY)

I have installed zencart in both locations I just need a way now to link them together

with a button so if some one clicks buy it starts the check out on the other store for buy
and if some one clicks rent it stays in the current stores checkout.

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Would be easier to have this be 2 attributes to these items in the same shop -

attrib 1 = buy
attrib 2 = rent

Can be radio buttons or a dropdown selection

Your way is difficult as you have to mitigate the sessions issues betewwn the 2 carts

Quick primer for attributes >

First go to the admin > catalog > categories/products > to this product and remove any price you have for it and select "priced by attributes"

Then:

admin > catalog > Option Name Manager > in the "en:" box enter a name & for you maybe "method" will do > select the type from the drop box as "Drop Down" or one of the other methods (Note: a check box is not exclusive and all can be selected) > insert

Then admin > catalog > Option Value Manager > there is a drop box for selecting the "Option Name" as you only have one this should already be there and next to it is another "en:" box > enter "Buy" in this box and then the sort order (if you want Buy to be first enter "10" > then insert

Repeat above for "Rent" and order is "20" > insert.

You now have an attribute "method" that has 2 variables attached to it.

Go to admin > catalog > attribute controller > and navigate to your product that you want to have this attribute attached to it and select it.

When you scroll down you should see "No Attributes Defined for Product ID#your product" and below that "ADDING NEW ATTRIBUTES" and 2 boxes - Option Name and Option Value
.

In option name select method and then in option value select Buy and below enter a price next to the "+" sign (and delete the + sign) select insert and repeat for Rent.

You Are done
