Changing Page2, 3,4 under more information sidebox

Hi all,

1.
I am new to zen-cart and i am customizing my store and hit a dead-end.
Where can I change the links Page 2, 3 and 4 as they appear in the sidebox.
i used the define pages editor to change the contents of those pages but I can not seem to get the file or codes which will allow me to change the links to eg Page 2 to About Us, Page 3 to FAQs etc .

2. Changed my header by removing the logo.gif but in iexplorer, a missing image sign shows( doesnt in netscape however.)

3. Missing image sign is also showing for languages image, that is icon.gif for english. I think i moved the file by mistake. Which folder is it supposed to be in please?

Anyone come to my aid please! Its been frustrating....

In your copy of english.php in a override folder "shopagog" - look for the defines for page_2 etc and edit the text that is between the single quotes.

Where did you "remove" logo.gif from?

Entering http://shop-a-gog.com/includes/langu...mages/icon.gif in the browser indicates a 404 not found - look in this location for this image and insure that it is there and by that name

Hi Kobra,

You know your stuff. I solved the problems relating to pages 2,3,4 as well as the languages missing logo icon.gif

Super concise instructions. With the last issue,

I took logo.gif off includes/languages/english/shopagog/header.php line 25.

I have reinstated it now. What is the best way to eliminate it completely since I now have my own header_bg.jpg ?

Edit the includes/languages/english/shopagog/header.php line 25. to read instead of

'logo.gif' it will read - - ' '

Tried it Kobra, but to no avail! It looks straight forward but the browser
still recognises that an image is missing. It is ok in Netscape Navigator though.
I tried editing the height and width pixels as well but still nothing changed.

Anymore ideas? Anyway thanks alot for the help. I am most grateful.

It should respond to this if you are editing the correct files....

A quick & dirty way might be to edit the stylesheet; find this:

#logo, .centerBoxContents, .specialsListBoxContents, .categoryListBoxContents, .centerBoxContentsAlsoPurch, .attribImg {
	float: left;
	}

and edit to look like this:

#logo { 
        display: none;
        }

.centerBoxContents, .specialsListBoxContents, .categoryListBoxContents, .centerBoxContentsAlsoPurch, .attribImg {
	float: left;
	}

Like I stated this is not the recommended method as what I posted first if done to the correct files should have worked and you might at some point find what it was that you tripped up on.

The last method is "Quick and Dirty"

I prefer ezpages much easier to use and edit when editing is needed.
