Two Category columns listing down not accross

Hi

Just upgraded from beta version to 1.3.7 .

Well done to everybody for the blatant hard work that has been put into this project.

Seems like a simple one this hopefully!

I have set categories list to 2 columns, I would like to alter the categories to be displayed down the page instead of across if that makes sense?

e.g.

category1 category5
category2 category6
category3 category7
category4

Instead of:

category1 category2
category3 category4 etc.

Has no one else changed this? It is backward to list in two columns the way the default is configured

I sorted it, I took the biggest hammer I could find and twated it into includes...blah..blah..blah
