Customer signup wont work with new theme :(

Hi,

i decided to use a theme from themestock.com (i know im lazy) and after modifying the logo etc i thought all was ok, untill members stopped rolling in and no orders were placed.

when i went to create a customer account it says You must select a country from the Countries pull down menu. even when i have. when i switch back to my original theme it works great. so i assume its something in the /includes/templates/mytemplate/... area of things.

my Zen cart version is
Zen Cart 1.3.0.2

Database Patch Level: 1.3.0.2


i have searched the forums but cannot find a method to fix this, can someone please help me stop pulling my hair out

or atleast tell me where i will find the file that calls that function so i can try and figure it out.

Welcome to Zen-Cart's forum.

The most known fix for this type of version would be to upgrade Zen-Cart to the newest version.

You might want to upgrade to the newest version of Zen Cart before you do anything.

If that doesn't take care of the problem...

Find all the corresponding files in the "classic" template that match the "new" files from your custom template.

Use something like WinMerge or other comparison software of choice and do a line-by-line comparison of the files. If you can find what's different, it might help you be able to add what's missing into your new template.

Have you contacted the place where you got the template from to see if they have any ideas?

thank you very much. worked a treat, good job my server has fantastico with the new version of ZC made it so much quicker to do.
