    Yep... lots of things are really simple to do if you know CSS. I can't include all of them in the readme, as it's already long enough that it confuses some people, even with big headings for each section.

    I need a some help please. On my test site here:

    http://www.mygamedemos.com/store/ind...index&cPath=82

    You'll see that I have the categories uncollapsed with ch_categories. However, I added the "Bee Royal" category with products in it. This category isn't uncollapsed like the other 2 (which I added a while ago). How do I un-collapse the "Bee Royal" category too / make newly added categories uncolapse too?

    Thanks

    Monsunemoon - You only have two products and no subcategories in Bee Royal, so there is nothing to uncollapse. If you want subcategories, move the products to another category, create your subcats and move the products back to those subcats.

    Thanks Glenn, I hadn't used it in a while and forgot that you had to put products in categories.

    Sw09 - You do not have Categories Dressing active on your site, so nothing in this thread is likely to be of use to you. This mod is not intended to affect the sidebox borders or background.
    To change the styling just for the categories sidebox, make rules for

    #categories {}
    #categoriesHeading {}
    #categoriesContent {}

    with appropriate properties in each rule.

    red flag Re: Categories Dressing

    PLEASE can you help me - I am going blind from looking at code and I'm sure the answer is right in front of me but I am missing it.
    I am reinstalling my site and have update my version of Zen cart to the latest (did this 2 days ago).
    I added this mod categories_dressing_2-7-3 and have managed to do some customizing but am stumped at something.
    Here is my site (under construction)
    http://ljgdesign.com
    You will see my categories on the left side.

    - I only want the one divider line above the link heading - how do i remove the other's?

    - Also, where do I find the text "Link Heading" to modify it - I have looked all over the place and can't find it.

    - one last thing...see the arrow that I put in that points to the sub categories? I did that last year - Any idea where that is? I would love to remove it lol

    Thanks so much for any help you can offer. I really appreciate it and am sorry to bother you.

    The arrow is part of the standard Zen Cart sidebox, and can be redefined to blank in
    Configuration > Layout Settings >
    Categories Separator between the Category Name and Count

    The readme.html describes how to turn off each feature if you don't need it. You appear to have found the way to turn off the link heading (comment out or delete its define statement in categories_dressing_defines.php).
