making a hidden wholesale only category?

hi -
im wondering if anyone has had success creating a COMPLETLEY hidden category ? i downloaded the "hidecategoy" contribution but before installing i read in the instructions that the products titles are actually still visible in the sidebar?
i'd like to have a whole "shop" with all the same items i have in my shop but at a different price for my wholesalers. does anyone know of a way to do this?

Create normal store, then create duplicate second store
which is accessible only to your wholesalers
and uses wholesale prices ..did exactly this for a client
about month ago...
