It would be easier to help if we could see the iste in action. This may give clues as to what is going wrong ... otherwise our only reference point is sites without this problem

I will have to defer to smarter folks than me for th ecookie issue, however you may want to adjust your configure files,
the login throws a ssl mismatch error
your ssl is set to https://yoursite and the config files are looking for https://www.yoursite

I don't think that this is really to do with cookies. It feels to me like a problem creating sessions which Zen Cart is wrongly attributing to problems with visitors' cookies (not just yours, mine too).
However, this is deep, deep stuff and moving beyond my limited expertise also. Let's see if we can encourage a true expert to join us ...

I concur with kuroi about it being a sessions problem at the server side.
It is most likely a result of an improperly-installed SSL certificate.
Can you post a link to your zc_install/techsupp.php file?
If you've already removed your zc_install folder, just upload techsupp.php to your public_html folder and post a link.
Also, can you go to Admin->Configuration->Sessions, and post all your settings from that screen?
Meanwhile, you probably will want to address the broken image problems and the appearance problems which show up when viewing your site in IE6.

I think that might have been it! Simple thing, eh?
At least I think it works...
Thanks so much!!!
Kuroi, and the good Doctor...
Can you tell me if I got it?
I think the SSL was the problem, but I need an outside (expert) to look at it...
Thanks, guys...
Cup 'o' joe is definately called for!

Also, a number of images are not shown in ie7Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/greatbig47/misight.com/includes/configure.php.
