CSS Flyout Menu - IE Ghosting Issue?

Hey, I'm working on a zen cart at the moment and the customer has specifically asked for a flyout menu.

I used the CSS Flyout Menu contribution:

The customer was really happy with the menu although she's quite disappointed because of a bug with IE.

When a user in IE uses the menu, it tends to work perfectly first time but after using it a few times ghost categories start to appear, with no text?

I'm wondering if this is a common issue with the module or not?

Did you switch off the CSS flyout? Not finding it on the site.
Just a small comment: The green category name on the purple background (left column) makes it extremely difficult to read your category names.

Anyway, I have CSS Flyout installed and I am not experiencing the problem you mentioned.

That's really strange, I've tested the website in Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer and the flyout is working fine in all of them. (except for the IE bug)

My colleague and my customer can all see the fly out too?
Also the customer has been showing friends and family the website to get their opinion, and I presume they've all seen it too?

The reason I imagine you're seeing green text and a purple background is that your browser isn't loading the flyout or the css files related to it :S

Revisited the site. Still the same. BTW i am using IE7

I have the same exact problem on www.idealuceonline.it using IE 7.

It is a real bug search for IE7 ghost bug and you'll find all kinds of complaints ... I've been working on it for a while. IT is a hasLayout issue that the geniuses at Microsoft giftwrapped for us.

As of yet no quality solutions, lots of fixes out there but they are all VERY flawed.

I found a solution:

CHANGE in the ul and hover in css

display:none; to visibility:hidden;
display:block; to visibility:visible;


somehow it works
