Hi,

I am trying to set up a translation service that charges customers per page. I created an attribute called "translation per page" for this service and I made it of type textbox (so that the customer can enter the number of pages to translate). I have experienced 2 problems with this option:

1. When I try to write a longer text than "Translation per page" the textbox for the option name keeps stopping me from typing any further. I went to the maxiumum values menu in Admin but I could not find a way of increasing the length of the option name textbox. How I can increase the length of the option name textbox?

2. I wanted to setup the Attributes controller to calculate the total cost for the order by multiplying the price of the product (e.g. 100) by the value entered by the customer in the Translation attribute textbox.

I tried to implement it in several different ways (e.g. Offset = 0 and Price Factor=1) or by filling in (+Price 100) but the total never adds up correctly (I always get a reduced total for some reason).

Can someone please help me on this?

Go to the Option Names Manager ... hit Edit ...

Set the Rows to something like 5 and the Maximum Length to 500 if that is the limit ...

Now you have a TEXTAREA instead of an INPUT box ...
