Product Listing - More Info

On the product listing I understand that "add to cart" is displayed unless there are attributes on the item, then it displays "more info ..."

If I turn off admin >configuration >product listing >Display Product Add to Cart Button, then I get "more info ..." on everything.

What I want to do is have neither "add to cart" or "more info ..." display. Does anyone know if this is possible.


I have all the items in a grid layout, and just want to display the model, image and title at this level.

You would need to customize the code for that to work ...

Look for this line in the:
/includes/modules/product_listing.php

        // more info in place of buy now 

Be sure to copy the file to your templates and overrides directory before making changes:
/includes/modules/your_template_dir/product_listing.php

Thanks Linda, I've had a look at this and got it to work how I want it

My PHP is not that hot, but commenting out the third line in the section you mentioned (the one containing MORE_INFO_TEXT) seems to have done the trick. Hopefully this will not be too heavy handed and impact on anythig else.

First Question: I changed templates and my add to cart dissappeared ?
I have gone into Admin Cageogry Product listings and it is turned ON.
so what happened ? how did they go away ?
I have gone back to defaul green classic template but no add to cart box is visible

Second question I have downloaded and uploaded six templates. they all show on the drop down list but for some reaon only two seem to be able to be installed at any one time / any two will work but I can not for some reason figure out why I can't have more then two on the list ??
