Well, I'm not sure why it would not display.
the file is here: includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php
This is stated right above the text area should you have need of a file's location in the futures. You could try copying this file (define_main_page.php) into the template file for whatever you named your custom template and see if it displays.
for example: /includes/languages/english/html_includes/TEMPLATE_NAME/define_main_page.php
If this does not work, speak up again.
Good luck,
Cheryl
Are there perhaps are set up instructions in some other module that need to be set? perhaps.

Have you checked the file permissions in your html_includes directory?

Where abouts do I find this directory. Can i get to it through the admin section??

No - usually you would do that through FTP, but you can do it through your host's Control Panel and File Manager.
As per the installation instructions, this directory (and the equivalent override) should have permissions set to 777.

Not sure why others didn't mention you could?
Admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor
In the drop-down list choose: define_main_page.php
If you get an error msg. at the top (Cannot change file for example) then change permissions.
777 includes/languages/english/html_includes/
- and -
777 includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php
*** Important ***
When finished editting make sure to put permissions for the "html_includes" dir. back to 755 -- which is the normal setting.

Not without a closer look - if you want to PM me access details for admin and FTP, I'll try to find time to have a peek for you.
BTW - you really must optimise your images for the web. 315kb for a thumbnail is approximately 400 times larger (and therefore 400 times slower to load) than it should be
