Which is the best server to use?

are you looking for information to setup your OWN server
are you wanting to know is *nix or windows better ( *nix )
or are you looking for WHO to pick to host your sites?

I would say any Linux server with cPanel will probably have everything you need.

A lot of people on the Zencart website will tell you that they prefer a Linux server but Zencart will also work fine on a Windows server. Since most people around here are hosting Zencart on Linux, you might be able to get a better support on the forum if you use linux.

Have you used both unix and windows and do you have a preference after using either?

Zen Cart is written in PHP and uses the MYSQL database. Linux is preferred, but the program will run on Windows with Apache.
