Database field order - where is that file?

I added fields to a database at one time and the data would not go in. Then I found a file that had all the fields for the databases with a number next to the fields that showed the order in which the data was entered. Adding the fields to this file fixed my problem.

Now I have the same problem again. But I cannot find FOR THE LIFE OF ME which file it was!

Anyone out there have a clue as to what I'm talking about...

The core file you're referring to is from your: includes/database_tables.php file. Althought, you're not suppose to edit this file since the includes/extra_definitions folder can already support your additional table definition names (without being affected in the upgrade).

But, I checked the database_tables.php file it looks more like a 'language' file. It has a lot of defines in it.

The one I was looking for had something like

orders_id --> orders_id [1]
customer_id --> customer_id [2]
customers_name --> customers_name [3]
customers_company --> customers_company [4]

and so on. And it had it for all the tables. The number represented the field input order. But, obviously, this is not the exact wording, otherwise I would have been able to find it! lol

AND... after all that is said and done... just to put a PS on the story, I was able to get my data into the database without it. My original question was to help me figure out how to get my eCheck data in the database: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?p=393949
