using non-zen cart templates with zen cart

Hi there! i have been allocated a job to do and i would appreciate some assistance.

bascially i have been asked to build a shop using zen cart. However they would like me to use a third party template which is not designed for zen cart.

Can this be done relatively easily?

i have not yet installed zen cart so if someone could tell me if it possible and relatively easy to do i will look further into it at a later date!

What cart was the template written for?

A random third-party template will not work on Zen Cart. THe way to go (if that is the exact look the customer wants) would be to modify the ZC base template to achieve the same look. You can use existing graphics as backgrounds etc.
