New Customer Notification

As a new ZenCart user, I must be missing something. How do I configure he cart to automatically inform my client that he has a new customer sign-up with the customer's details?

This should already doing so once the customer successfully registers a new account. Both ends should receive an email confirmation message already. However, you must assure to configure your admin - > configuration - > email options first.

How do I add the customer's details to the email the site owner receives?

To add additional entries into your create account email body, you'd need to edit your $email_text variable and $html_msg array from your create_account.php file and then add those new definitions into your create account email confirmation template message file.
