Why should I use Zen cart?

Versus a bundled ecommerce solution? I am somewhat technical, but will the effort be that much more greater in maintaining say a linux server, taking away from concentrating on the business? Would appreciate unbiased answers, thanks :)

Using Zen Cart does not inherently have anything to do with maintaining a server. You can buy a hosted setup where someone does everything for you and you pay them for anything you want done; you can buy hosting and build Zen Cart for yourself (or pay someone to build it), or buy another e-commerce system and install it; or you can buy your own server and do all your own hosting.

It just depends on what you see as the best results vs. use of your resources.
