Problem With Units In Stock Status Message

Hi all,

In putting in new product, for Products Status, I click on the "In stock" radio button and I cleaned out the "Products Quantity" box which originally had "0" in it.

When I look at the product after updating it shows "0 Units in Stock".

Is there any way of getting rid of that line? My friend doesn't want to show how many units he has or has not in stock. Thanks.

Check in your admin > config > stock > for the several settings to not use stock

and then in admin > catalog > product types > edit layout > to turn it off

I just realized something else earlier, though, would setting the store to simply "Showcase" products do the same thing? At the rate it's going, the setup is simply a showcase of products with an invite for people to email him expressions of interest in purchasing his products.

Yes, you can set a showcase with or without prices

There are enuf options that you can be a bit confused at times.
