Coupon not displayed in Admin

I have a coupon that doesn't give any discounts but instead *should* let the store owner know that the customer wants their merchandise signed. Except when the order is submitted, nowhere on the order details page does it say that a coupon code has been entered. Is there a way to get it to display that information?

How do you have this setup?

Discount Coupons were not really designed for something like this ... but if you can show how you configured the Discount Coupon perhaps we can see this ...

You cannot make a coupon for 0.00 ... more than likely forcing it is being blocked ...

I will have to fool with this and see what the adverse affects are to a coupon like this ...

When you say you need a flag for the signature ...

If I order 27 products and say sign it ... does this mean sign all 27 products?

Well, when I enter the coupon at checkout it accepts it and tells me "congratulations" and all. So, it does see it, just doesn't show it in admin.

There will be a note added later about how many products will be signed, that info will come from the customer.


edit: by "customer" i mean the guy I'm doing the cart for, not the people who order merch.

When you made the coupon ... did you have to manually edit the database table to get it set to 0.00?

No, I just entered 0.00 in the amount field. When I put just 0 it wouldn't submit, but 0.00 worked.
