what are your currency settings in your admin->configuration->my store->switch to default currency settings? try set it to false
btw, did you set the gpb as default? in the currency menu?
Hi,
I have tried various combinations;
Store/Switch To Default Language Currency/true or false.
localisation/currencies/GBP as default
Clicking on update currencies.
Still does not work.
Such a simply thing I would have thought.
What am I missing........
A link to your site might help.
Err it's now working.
I played around with all of above settings, gave up then came back to it later and it was working?
Might have been the browser cache?
Thanks for help.
Yes, it can be your browser cache.
I could not log in my site as a customer for a while. Just before I wanted to jump out of the window it worked, don't ask me why that time.
It turned out to be the browser cache. Due to the overload of cookies and sessions from various sites I visit, this might corrupt your browser though.
Thanks.
Zencart seems harder than I thought.
Maybe I should buy the book?
I'm having trouble with this as well.
I have cleared browsing and cache yet my admin displays the currency of whatever the customer chose as to browse and purchase on the site (the customer being me in my development store).
WHAT GIVES?
I really don't want 5 currencies showing in my admin orders/reports yet I really need the feature to display currency options on the website.
Thoughts?
If you give the customer the options of which currency to buy in then they buy in their chosen currency, and it gets saved in the db as such. This means that you see that curency in your admin panel.
There's no way around this, other than to only use one currency on the Shop Front.
Vger
Yup - That's right.
I do see now that REPORTS all show up in default (USD) format.
That is what really matters. Daily financial transactions will need to be converted like refunds and what not.
Now I just have to make sure our PayPal and Auth.net is set up to accept these foreign submissions.
~~~Any input on that one?
