HELP! Can't figure out Sub Categories!

Help! I can't seem to figure out how to add a sub category!

Here is what I have-
I have a folder called Harness' and inside that folder I want to offer leashes (makes sense ). However, I want the Harness' products not to be in a sub category but I DO want the leashes to be in a sub category. When I go inside my first folder, it doesn't give me an option to create a sub category since the category contains products.


How the heck do I go about this?

I'm no pro, but...

ZC warned me that categories should only contain sub categories OR products and thus didn't like the mix of the 2.

HOWEVER - You can create your "subcategory" elsewhere and MOVE it to where it should be.

TOP
CAT 1
CAT 2

Create your "SUB1" in TOP then move it to CAT1. This works, but I'm not sure if something else may break, so proceed with caution.
