I really, really apologize for bothering you people so much. Please know I do appreciate everything. I receive the above message when I try to finish the transaction of a purchase. I'm not sure where to go. Is there a thread I can go to that will explain? I did a search for email and error and came up with over 300.

Hello,
I created my first site ever which is www.emmasperfumes.com
For the past 6 months everything went fine, and about a couple of days ago I started having this same error!
When trying to complete their transaction, my customers would get this message on the "checkout_process" page:
Email error:
It does not describe what error, what you see above is what you get on the page. The orders do show on my admin but no notification email is received as I normally would.
I am not a programmer, and I am stumped.
Help, please. Thank you.

The NUMBER ONE thing to do when something "suddenly" changes ... is ask your hosting company what has changed recently.

Actually I posted an update yesterday, but I guess I mustve been careless enough that it didnt come through.
I checked Admin->Configuration->Email Options
Changed from "sendmail" to "sendmail-f" and voila! Problem solved!
Thanks for your advice, I'll keep it in mind when I get 'sudden' changes to my website's behaviour.
I really, really appreciate the support guys.
