    Default Database needs patching to higher level

    Hi

    I upgraded my store to v1.3.7.1-full-patched-07052007 and everything appeared to be fine. I then added the following contributions:
    - GOOGLE CHECKOUT PLUGIN FOR ZEN CART v1.3RC2
    - Google Base Feeder v 1.4.7
    - Google Adsense Sidebox by Gilby
    Since installing these contributions, I have now noticed that the admin area of my website says:
    "Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels."
    I don't think it said this before i added the contributions but could be wrong...

    The Tools->Server Information of my website says:
    PROJECT_VERSION_NAME PROJECT_VERSION_MAJOR.PROJECT_VERSION_MINOR

    Patch: PROJECT_VERSION_PATCH1:ROJECT_VERSION_PATCH1_SOURCE

    Patch: PROJECT_VERSION_PATCH2:ROJECT_VERSION_PATCH2_SOURCE

    Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

    v1.3.6 [2007-07-14 17:19:00] (Version Update 1.3.5->1.3.6)
    v1.3.5 [2006-09-30 14:16:37] (Fresh Installation)

    ##################################################################################################################################

    Can anyone please help me as I'm not sure what to do.

    Thanks HEAPS in advance!

    1. What exact process did you follow to do the upgrade ?

    2. It seems your FTP program has failed to upload all the required files.
    Please re-check all the files on your server, as some likely have 0-bytes when they shouldn't, and/or some may be missing.

    I get exactly the same message but the above does not make much sense to me. How would I know what file is missing?

    As you can tell I am technologically challenged.

    Does ths mean looking in my control panel of my host?

    Thanks, any advice is appreciated.

    Hi

    You need to use your FTP (File Transfer Programme) that you use to upload your files to your web space. Using your FTP, you need to compare the files contained in the complete version of ZenCart on your computer with files that you have uploaded to your web space and see what is missing. If there is a shortcut to this process, i'm afraid i don't know what it is! So its simply a case of going through each folder and each file one by one. It maybe worth first checking to see if you are missing the same file that i was missing though.

    I hope this helps you.

    Good luck.

    Thanks Tiger, would you mind telling me what file you were missing?

    Oops, sorry - thought i'd mentioned it in one of my replies above. I was missing ...{MODERATOR EDIT: each case is different ... best to compare all files to be sure you have the right file and *all* the appropriate files}

    Thanks Tiger,

    It is there but it has 0 bytes and when I looked at it there is nothing there, would that possibly be the problem?

    It shouldn't be 0 bytes. Try uploading the original file again from your computer. It will ask if you want to replace the existing file - say Yes. Fingers crossed this will fix the problem.

    I got the file and uploaded it using Macromedia (my FTP) and it still says 0 bytes. I opened both and the text is the same.

    I also noticed that there seems to be 2 version.php files. One straight off public.html/version.php and the other is cart/includes/version.php, do you have this too?

    The one off public.html is slightly different to the other in the text.
    Sorry to be pita.

    Thanks,
