Default unable to access admin login page (Critical)

    Hi Everyone

I have come up with a problem which I don't know how to fix. I have done nearly everything I can think to fix this but no solution found as yet.

I AM RUNNING CART 1.3.7 with the admin patch
    SSL Catalog
    SSL Admin

This is a working cart not a test cart

    Background

Last night my computer was running very sluggish, so sluggish that admin logout kept timing out, so I decided to shut the darn thing down and go to bed. Up until then cart was working fine.

Tried to access the admin page this morning and got the following

    The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
See if your Internet connection settings are being detected. You can set Microsoft Windows to examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings (if your network administrator has enabled this setting).
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK.
Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
Click the Back button to try another link.

Cannot find server or DNS Error
    Internet Explorer
I know that the SSL is working as I am able to access the front end of the store as some of the images are on SSL and I can access customer login page which also on SSL.

Steps I have taken to try and fix this problem

    1. Cleared internet temp files/cookies
    2. Reinstalled the patched admin login.php and sessions.php files (thinking that they may have got corrupted during logoff)
    3. turned modem off, restarted computer and turned modem back on (on advise from my ISP)
    4. Done a repair on Database through my C-Panel
    5. Cleared all of my temp files/cookies again
    6. Turned off SSL for admin
    7. tried accessing on a different computer (same thing)
    8. Turned off firewall
    9. checked htaccess files, but I don't really know what I am looking at there

The only thing that I can think of that I haven't done yet is completely re-install all admin files.

    Site address is http://www.heavenlynightslingerie.com.au

if anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated as I have ran out options with the exception of one.

I cannot get your secure pages to work on your site ...

You might also look at v1.3.7.1 and see if loading that fixes anything that might have become corrupt ...

NOTE: be sure to backup your site and your database before attempting this ...

Ajeh, any idea without having to install the new version of zen, as I have outstanding orders that need to be attended to, but I need the admin and I am unable to set the cart in "down for maintenance" mode in order to upgrade anyway.

Compare your two configure.php files ...
    /includes/configure.php
    /admin/includes/configure.php

    Make sure all match ...

Or, you could use something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and compare the files from your server with a clean copy of Zen Cart to see if there is something changed ...

HOLY COW! Do you know how large your opening page is???? http://www.websiteoptimization.com/s...ngerie.com.au/
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
