If Zen Cart was running fine for a period of time without issue and no changes were made to Zen Cart during that time ... and suddenly things stop working ... I would look to your hosting site for changes on the server as the Zen Cart code did not change and it does not re-write itself ...

I'm pretty sure that this is server-related.

One person manages their own server, so unless they are server admin professionals that's just asking for trouble - and someone else has the same problem across multiple servers.

I have different version of zen cart 1.35 – 1.37. All on the same hoster and all with the same problem. In the German Zen Forum I read that someone with another big provider have the same problem to the same time. This makes me a little afraid.

Instead of all this speculation why not go to your hosting control panel and look in your error logs. What do they say?

    500 is Internal Server Error
476 can mean many things - but one of the things it is associated with is running out of disk space. It can also mean 'unknown file type' or that your server file system is corrupt.
302 is associated with a redirect and 'file not found'
26 is associated with an SQL network interface error

At a rough guess I'd say your servers' hard drive is fried.
