All categories and products gone!

I was deleting one category, which had no products in it.
Got a confirmation window, asking if I am sure.
Fine, I pressed delete.

Then I got disconnection to server - page cannot be displayed.
Took browser back button, and there is the confirmation window again.
Pressing the delete button again.

and I am back in main view of all main categories, and there is NONE !!!
oh my god!

My guess is that, on the second attempt the code tried to delete a category, which was not existing anymore, instead of giving error or something, it deleted all categories and all products ... sniff ...

Using phpMyAdmin ... browse your products and categories tables ...

Nope. They are gone.

And you have a handy dandy backup somewhere ... right?

5 days old yes, contains only the site files, but not the DB, which I intended to backup right after that last change/deletion of single category.

Contact your hosting site and see what backups they may have of your database ...

The version is 1.3.7
