    Default Email Error

    Hi,

I installed fresh zen cart on my local system. When i sign up and press submit button i have the following error:

"Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function."

I thought this problem occurs on local system only. I upload my complete website there when i press submit button (After filling the sign up form) i have a blank page come which show nothing.

    How can i resolve it??

    Thanks,

    A4

You probably need to choose a different Email Transport method.

Your hosting company configured your server.
They will have to answer the question, or you can try each one to see what works.

Did you read the link I posted earlier?

It's likely a problem with your server configuration.

In your Zen Cart files, in the /zc_install folder, there is a "techsupp.php" file.
Open that file in a text editor.
In the first 3 lines of the file, there is a place to enter an email address.
    Put in your email address.
    Save the file.
upload the file to your website.

Post a URL to that file so that I can take a look.
