Default PayPal Express Checkout - Auth Only

    Hello,

    I'm new. :)

I'm testing the PayPal Express Checkout in Payment Action Authorization only.

Can anyone tell me how the funds are captured? I can't see anywhere in the admin control panel and it doesn't seem like I can do it from my test Sandbox account?

I can't use Sale mode as the goods may not be delivered quickly.

Any help MUCH appreciated. I expect the refund and partial refund buttons work after funds have been captured.

After you've placed the order, go to your Zen Cart admin area, and open the order details.
You should have some transaction-handling options there including capture.

    Are you using v1.3.7 or v1.3.7.1 ?

When the Payment Action in Express Checkout is set to Auth Only, the capture fields are supposed to show up underneath the gray PayPal details, similar to the refund section to the right of the details.

You can force it on by adding &authcapt=on to the URL on your order page. This would have to be done manually on every page you wish to do a capture.

The options should normally automatically appear if the transaction is eligible for capture. Sometimes the sandbox behaves erratically.

I also do not see the section for doing a capture unless I manually append "&authcapt=on" to the url.

    I'm not using sandbox.

I'm just wondering if it's normal as you mentioned capture fields are supposed to show up, but for me they don't.

I use ZC 1.3.7 and have applied all the patches.
