Stop products from being disabled?

If you dont want them to check out, set "allow checkout with no stock" to false.

I have this set this way - set to 1 - but when I select "Out of Stock" for a product it is still disabled. I have double checked this setting 3 times and re-set it as well.

i have the same problem. i want to disable the product when is =0 but when i set it to 0 the product still show up.

It is on disabled automatically when the customer BUYs it. If you set the quantity to 0, you have to disable it manually.

yeah thanx, i figured out that after i posted. i made a script to automatically update quantity and status.
