adding addotional options to products

Ok heres the thing im wanting to know if its possiable to add additional services to products i sell for example i sell a computer but want the capablitity for the customer to buy installation of it then software or upgrades is it possiable for me to add several drop down boxes to individual products?? so they may buy a computor and install and maybe a memory upgrade al from inside that one products placement.

Yes, you may do all of the above with Zen-Cart's attribute system.
