    Default strange cursor behaviour in IE

    Good morning,

    I have a strange problem with my cursor in IE (zen 1.3.7.)
    If a customer wants to change the amount of articles the curser appears on the very left side of the field. That means the customers puts in his 4 i.g. and has to delete the number which was already there. The field cannot me marked.
    Sometimes instead of being able to type in the desired amount the customer is directed directly to the index.html.

    Also the text on my page can't be highlighted in IE. The curser looks like in "not-allowed" - but that's not, what I need.
    In FF everything is fine.

    I hope you understand my problem, if not, I'll try to explain again (sorry for my English). Hopefully anyone can tell me what to do!!!
    Thanks a lot
    Greetings from Germany

    Do you have a link to the site?

    This sort of problem typically arises because there is a structural problem on the page which one or more browsers can't cope with. The way that the pointer turns to a hand when I click on this field makes me think that Internet Explorer believes that there is another, invisible feature of the page overlapping the input field - there isn't but it seems to think there is.

    Your page though looks fairly clean. You have a small number of validation errors which could possibly explain it. Specifically you have some old fashioned <br> tags, which should be <br /> tags now, but it's unlikely to be them.

    There's a slightly higher chance that the link around your logo which is opened but never closed may be causing problems. It's a bit of long shot, but I would fix that and the <br> tags first and see if it helps.

    Looks like that's it :-)

    The a tag isn't closed here (looking at the HTML source):
    Code:
    <!--bof-branding display-->
    <div id="logoWrapper">
        <div id="logo"><a href="http://www.der-scrapbook-laden.de/"></div>
        <div id="taglineWrapper">

        </div>
    </div>
