    Default Help with rotating banner in header space

    I have searched through the forum and found similar questions asked but cannot get this to work.

    I would like to put a animated gif of a banner in the blank space opposite the logo at the same pixel height as the logo. Here http://xlspares.net and move the ‘My Account | Shipping Info’ with the other menu below it ‘Specials | Featured Items | View All Products’ any help appreciated thanks.

    You should be able to add a banner via the Banner manager in your Admin. Activate Header Position 2 in the Layout Controller.

    Wow, *bows* Thank you Kim! I've been doing it the hard way!

    Jonb;
    Add banner to Banner Manager under Tools, pay attention to the group you put it in. Then under Layout Settings Set position 2 to the banner group you selected.

    Man I'm gonna have some fun tonight! Thank you Kim!

    OK, I tried position 2 but the banner was placed below the header space and under any content that the central column occupied. It doesn't actually place it inside the empty space alongside the logo.

    Alternatively I activated wide-banners in position 1 and replaced the logo inside the header with a blank white logo 2x5pix. This then narrowed the space inside the header. Position 1 is the very top of the page.

    I then incorporated the logo in photoshop layers to make the banner that rotates three of them i setup in banner manager.

    This is not how i prefer it to be because getting creative restricts me to incorparate the logo in any banner i wish to create.

    Is it possible to have more than 1 banner display at the top alongside eachother?

    If you are using any template other than the classic or default, you may need to look at the stock tpl_header.php to see how it is laid out.

    Warning Will Robison!
    IChoze template alert!
    I must admit that they are far superior to TM but, Kim's right. Be sure they haven't moved the standard header around a bit.
