A potential customer cannot add her email address when trying to create an account - an example of the email address is test@my.email.ne.jp
I know for a fact that this is a valid email address...but I have a feeling that the email validation can't "handle" that level of domains - anyone know what to fix and how to fix it?

I have no problem creating new accounts with that address when testing on a fresh v1.3.7 site.
What version of Zen Cart are you using ?.

Shouldn't be anything that affects it, at least not in default code.
Have you installed any addons/contributions ?
What version of PHP?.

I apologize -I should have tested it myself before taking the customers word for it - I was able to use that address to set up an account...sorry for the trouble!!!
