    Default Customized Ordering Process

    Hi there,

I don't know if anyone done something like this, or is there a contrib that existed for this purpose or that I can base on.

The product (customized greeting cards) requires much more customization then e.g. a book.

Is it possible to do separate screen of ordering process, e.g.
stage 1 : order card type
    stage 2 : process/color/typsetting/proofs
    stage 3 : accessories
    stage 4 : envelopes
    stage 5 : basket checkout

assuming stage 2-4 are all attributes to the product.

    Any one?

I believe there are several greeting card sites in the Showcase - might check them out to see how they are doing things.

    Thanks Kim,

    That's a good idea...

However, I just went through 15 sites there, unfortunately there is nothing there that can give me what I want.

Do you think I should work out the concept within the modules_attributes.php template?

I would suggest using the card type as your top level categories.

    Birthdays
    Sympathy
    Congratulations
    etc

Then I am assuming you have several different Birthday cards and each of them can then be customized as a product with attributes.
